The War of Art

The War of Art, Stephen Pressfield

This book really gave me a kick in the butt! Pressfield nails out propensity to procrastinate and resist success and the realization of our own creative genius brilliantly. He is succinct, to the point, and uses personal examples to illustrate. No more excuses, because that is all they are. He details how resistance, our insidious road block, comes only from within and is there at every step. While many of us may know this, it is a wake-up call to see it in black and white and acknowledged by such a success. Pressfield also authored The Legend of Bagger Vance, The Gates of War and The Tides of Fire.
