Crustacean – Beverly Hills, CA
The atmosphere in this Beverly Hills hot spot is sort of Asian meets Pirates of the Caribbean, with lucite walkways over streams of carp and fish tank walls with brilliant tropical species and few James Bond scary fish! The service is a bit spotty, largely attributable to the tough layout. With an upstairs that wraps around an open atrium effect downstairs, they are traveling a good deal between tables. The menu is original but food lacked flavor and interest, or was just overwhelmingly spicy without a determined source. Fun more for the experience and ambiance than the edibles.
