All I Want for Christmas . . .
Well, I got it, a universal remote for my TV, DVD, VCR. Yahoo! When I moved I brought over at least 5 remotes, none that of course were operational with the TV and more. So I have been forced in those rare moments I do want to watch to perch on the floor in front of the TV and push buttons by hand. Watching a movie was almost deemed impossible by the cable service folks when they found I had no remote, I persisted and finally pushed the right buttons. But now I have it, remote control once again, no more thumb exercises. It is surprising how terribly spoiled we are.
