    Listen up folks! She has a good point! She told me this for years when we were working together. Yes, your regular clients do get used to your lower rates, they tell their friends how “reasonable” you are, and then yelp when you up your rates. But, if your work is good, they pay your new rate or find somebody else. Either way, you win.

  2. I work in the fees into my price for my services. But I don’t add it on at the time of purchase. Plus, in Texas and elsewhere it is illegal to tack on an extra fee for cc purchases. but of course, it’s okay for the govt agencies to do it! 😉
