Orlando, FL – International Home Builder’s Show

Wow, what an amazing global event! With resources and products gathered from around the world, this was very exciting. I am ready to leave the world of design and enter the world of building, in order to use some of the incredible products I saw. Just kidding!

Check out my design trend blog, for in depth reviews and news. The photos here are just highlights!

I still haven’t made it to Disneyworld, having to make do with very old memories of Disneyland in Anaheim growing up. Taxis in Orlando are worse than New York, each trip was a ludicrous $35, OUCH (even when they got hopelessly lost!) Yes, I had a rental planned, but thought parking would be a nightmare with convention goers, and opportunities to get lost exponentially high. I did have fun at the Peabody Hotel for cocktails and dinner a couple of evenings; they do have the ducks just like in Memphis! Does anyone know if the elevator challenges their sense of gravity?? Another great restaurant is Seasons 52- See my review here.

I even met a couple of celebrities from HGTV and DIY, Pat Simpson and Brad Staggs! Looking forward to seeing HGTVPro released and all the great ideas available so readily. So as they say . . . STAY TUNED for more adventures . . . .

Travel Well and Beautifully,

MG
