Well, the holidays kind of got in the way of my sharing this amazing adventure with you! Santa Fe is truly magical. The quality of the light reflecting off the dusty red and gold mountains is unmatched anywhere. It has a diamond like brilliance without the glare, quite stunning and uplifting. Being affected with SAD this makes a big difference! I definitely see having a retreat here in the mountains sometime in the future…
The other neat part was that everyone I met wanted to be there, whether it was the bartender formerly a stockbroker, the art broker formerly a designer, or the shop keeper, formerly trapped in corporate America; it was wonderfully revealing. Everyone was engaging, interested, and a delight to talk with. How refreshing!
Ahh and then the art, well I’m saving some of that for my newsletter so you’ll have to stay tuned. The reason for my trip was a Speaker’s Workshop hosted by Gail Larsen. She is an amazing lady, a true entrepreneur, well accomplished and willing to share her expertise. We had an eclectic bunch of participants, all with their own niche and goals and Gail contributed mightily to each of our successes. It was about finding your own voice, and I found mine! I also had a very effective coaching session one on one with Gail. In a mere 3 hours, we got down my goals for 2006, of course being the overachiever I am, most seemed to fall into first quarter. I have to work on this!
Pictures here are from the Bobcat Inn that we stayed at during the workshop, a Western Adventure!
Happy Travels!
