Windows on the World

Well it may not be new this year, but it was new to me! Skylights for years have gotten a bad wrap with leaking and a host of other issues. I remember when we had them in the guest house in Connecticut and every storm brought new leaks. But no more! Velux has solved this challenge and added design in spades.

Their balcony roof window is the ultimate in window/skylight solutions. Where typically you might put a useless dormer window in a double hung format, or perhaps you can only do the angled transoms, here you can transform that opportunity into a flexible balcony. And it is all with easy touch mechanisms, no heavy lifting, or awkward and sticky push outs. What a breath of fresh air!
