Atlanta, GA – Dogwood Festival

It was an incredible day, not too hot, but warm enough to really feel like Spring. The crowds were intense but still worth the trek. Definitely saw some art worth mentioning and have shared just a handful here.

I was really awed by the handcrafted leather bound books at Iona Hand Crafted Books. The delightful sculptures of Riverdog can be found here. Carol Reynold’s is a favorite of mine for her mosaic work – I picked up a chair last year inspired by the beach and sea. No website yet, but you can reach her by email. Mary Gaye Miller did the most amazing glass assemblages, website in the works, but for now, you can email her. The electric bright glass sconces and more can be found online. They do custom work, also, and can include any colors or scenes desired. A wonderful fit for a children’s room or just whimsical addition to any home.

Live Well and Beautifully,
