Are you marketing?
Often, when I ask designers this question, many tell me they have acquired a full practice by being word-of-mouth only. And while that is impressive, it can also leave you in a lurch. In our ever-changing economy, there are going to be times when that word of mouth goes silent–they could be right around the corner, and we’ll never know! If you don’t have other engines for marketing ignited and running in your business, such uncertain times are going to be especially stressful for you.
The kind of marketing that I’m going to share with you today is measurable and trackable. You can apply metrics to it to keep on top of it and make sure it is continually working to your benefit. I also have a very simple scorecard that you can use as a strategic tool to help you to track the number of leads that you gain from each marketing strategy used. There are so many lead sources that I have lined up for you–we’re talking social media, lifestyle referrals, profit partners, and more. I’m here today to walk you through each so you can be sure you are getting the most out of the platforms and strategies that you are using in your marketing to keep your business profitable and your creativity flowing.
In this episode, you will hear:
- Why relying on word-of-mouth marketing only can be risky
- How to use my scorecard method to track and rate your lead sources
- Which lead sources will be most beneficial for you to sink your teeth into
- How to tell if your marketing is not working
