WHAT’S YOUR INTERIOR DESIGN BUSINESS MINDSET?

Create a growth business mindset to achieve your big goals.
  1. Great article. I see myself divided into all three mindsets. I want to succeed and takes steps to achieve, yet, I am slow to make changes. I have implemented some changes recently, as business does not function as it did in the 80’, 90’s, when my business flourished.
I had a lot of support staff for the many years. I like to collaborate with others. Working alone isn’t enjoyable, nor do I want to focus my efforts on tasks I don’t like to do. These include: administrative, drafting and computer generated presentations.
My strengths as a designer are in the creative process, project management and client relations.

      Lauren,
Design has changed dramatically in the last 10 years and in the last 10 months. We all have to pivot with the changes or risk becoming irrelevant. Few like to work alone, it’s why I launched a group coaching experience. You can OUTSOURCE the tasks you don’t enjoy to online experts and stay focused on what you love most.

I toggle between ‘fear’ and ‘growth’…I get on a roll with growth and inevitable the fear kicks in and sets me back!

And Marni, that’s a choice you’re making and the trap of your not-so-comfortable comfort zone.

You have the power to make new choices in any moment on any day.

      HUGS,
      Melissa
