Got a chance at long last to visit with my Northern family! Lynn and Hani Azzam are very dear friends that I have known since high school and grew up with their sons. It is always a treat to visit and catch up. Lynn had a surprise for me this time with a day trip to the sculpture garden at Pepsico headquarters in Purchase, NY, a short drive. Of course being the art nut I am, I was awed and thrilled! From a giant 20 foot high garden trowel by Claus Oldenburg, the master of all things huge, to an amazing sun-burned red horse abstraction by Alexander Calder, it was a true visual and tactile feast.
