I bet you didn’t even know you could eat Spanish moss. Well I’m here to tell you can. I found out a few years ago when I went on a tour of the everglades and asked the guide what you could survive on if you got stranded. He said Spanish moss is entirely edible and so is alligator, of course. Well I’d tried gator and didn’t love it, so I had to try Spanish moss, not much better, but then I didn’t have my favorite balsamic dressing handy. (Yes, I did actually just reach up and snatch some off a low hanging branch, how did you think I got it? They don’t sell it at Kroger!)
Why on earth am I babbling on about Spanish moss and what does it have to do with you? Everything.
