There’s a lot of productivity tools available today, and it can feel overwhelming to find the right ones for you. I only recommend what I actually use and think this one is a total game changer!
Have you noticed, as I have, that we don’t just pick up a phone and call anyone anymore, we schedule it! YIKES. Time management can be such a total hassle with endless email back and forth or a stream of texts, frustrating coordinating of calendars, and time wasted. But, you may not want to hire a personal assistant just to run your schedule (or maybe you want to, but it isn’t in your business investment plan.) What is a busy business owner and professional to do? How can you become a master of time management simply and easily?
I’ve got the perfect productivity tool for you . In fact, this is one of the coolest tools in my arsenal of time management tricks and cool ways to reign in the time robbers, my favorite scheduler and productivity booster …

I love this scheduler. There are five levels of service, from free to customized. I’m in for just $49/year for unlimited appointments. When you climb on board, take some time (not a lot) to set up your most popular appointments by unique name (gives you marketing juice), with details, and you can create available time blocks by week, month, quarter, or year. You can easily go in and change these at any time for ultimate convenience.
This scheduler also syncs super easily with your Outlook (my fave), Google Calendar, iCal and others. And it sends reminders as well as confirmations to those who schedule time with you. I’ve looked at other schedulers and found none have the flexibility and easy interface for this non-tech. It also does NOT require folks who want to meet with you by phone or in person to register (ack, another popular scheduler does require this.)

Hey, as always I love your comments and would love to hear what your favorite productivity tip is or what software you recommend!
Thanks Melissa!
You always seem to have just the “right” input to what I am searching for….
I will defintely look into TimeTrade. Additionally, I have 2 comments.
1. I JUST picked up these leads from a linked in group.
Do you know how they compare to Time Trade?
Someone said they used Timebridge for years and it can get a little ‘buggy’… things like not syncing with your calendar and the likes. Others have been using Schedule Once see http://www.scheduleonce.com/
2. A key concern I have is that I can control how far out I can request appts. to be made. i.e. I want to avert an individual from scheduling an appt. in less than 48 hours.
Can Time Trade be set up for that kind of control?
I truly TRUST you and your valuable assessments of current business savvy tools..

Diane,
I think you can control that with TimeTrade, have to confess, I haven’t had that issue so wouldn’t want to promised what I’m not sure of.
I’m not famiiar with scheduleonce, sounds like another good option. The Outlook synch was a very important feature to me as was the reminders it sends to appointment holders.
Hugs, Melissa
I totally LOVE online schedulers (I use a different one and there are many pros and cons). I love that I can set times, sync, etc. as that back and forth meeting setting stuff wastes a whole bunch of time, doesn’t it. Technology is such a time saver when it is put to the right use…and this is one of those!
Thanks, as always, for a great article.
Mama Red,
Glad we are on the same page and using technology to save time and resources!
Hugs, Melissa
