Let me let you in on a critical aspect of my success: I don’t participate in overwhelm.

I know that might sound off, but honestly, overwhelm isn’t real. It’s created by overthinking, which I have actively chosen not to waste time on.

I’m a list maker, an agenda creator and a delegator – this keeps me out of it.

This doesn’t mean I don’t get slammed – trust me, I do! – but that’s different than overwhelm. Overwhelm is a state of mind and that is a choice.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed today, I’d encourage you to consider why you’re overthinking and where you could direct that energy instead. How can you delegate? What needs prioritized? Sitting in the overwhelm isn’t going to make it go away, so it’s time to take action!
